If you attended Durban Girls’ High School for one year or for five years, we would love to connect with you.

Through the Alumni Association, we aim to keep our collective passion for our school alive. Our Reunion Days, which we celebrate on Founders’ Day, are an excellent opportunity to catch up but we would also like to build up our database and keep up to date with alumni news throughout the year. Please send us newspaper articles, information and photos for us to add to our social media platforms and the school magazine.

Alumni Anniversary Bursary

Durban Girls’ High School remains a highly respected school which contributes towards the development and success of young women. 

The costs of maintaining our standards have risen exponentially in the last decade and we are increasingly aware of learners with great potential whose circumstances make the affordability of access to the education we offer a real difficulty. 

Every year a group of Alumni celebrate their Milestone Year and to celebrate this and to acknowledge your alma mater, we invite you to be a part of the ANNIVERSARY BURSARY by donating a once-off payment or regular donations paid monthly or yearly. All funds collected are put towards helping learners to complete their schooling with us. The recipients are selected by the Principal of the school having taken in account all suitable parameters. Contributions can be made on an individual basis and no amount is too big or too small. 

Help us make a difference in girls’ lives for years to come and ensure the legacy of Durban Girls’ High School continues.
